Artworks in Porcelain

My most recent porcelain sculptures are the result of three years of exploratory experimental creativity, transformed by process and color. The coil has been reimagined as a continuous piece of colored porcelain mixed and hand-rolled into segments whose journey becomes evident through the free process of discovery.

State of ruin series 3

State of Ruin [above]

This series of artwork, State of Ruin, 2017-21, explores a world on the brink of extinction, or as the title suggests, in the process of disintegration. It can be viewed in several parts as architectural vessels [series 1], sculptural lighting forms [series 2] and sculptural wall pieces as seen above [series 3]. White and coloured porcelain.

Transformations, Abstractions & Hybrids [below]

Transformations, Abstractions (2022-25) & Hybrids (2020-21) play purely with colour and form [white and coloured porcelain]. They investigate order and disorder, balance and movement, transformation of material and arrangement of different elements and sculptural forms. Click on thumbnails below
